Join the Dawson Creek Choral Society in a viewing of the most recent National Youth Choir of Canada concert, Sharing Our Voices 🎵

The viewing begins at 2:00 PM, bring your own coffee or snacks and enjoy being in community to enjoy a lovely concert! 💙

The NYCC is a professional choir and consists of singers between the ages of 19 and 26 from across Canada. The concert saw a sold out audience last night, 800 seats were filled.

We are grateful to the Dawson Creek Choral Society for sharing this program with our community and hope to see you tomorrow! 🎶

We had a blast in the dance performance section of Peace Arts Festival!

Congratulations to all dancers, we look forward to welcoming selected routines back at Honours Concert this Saturday May 16th at 2:00 PM, doors will open at 1:30 PM and entry is by donation ⭐️

We would like to thank all of our dancers, studios, dance teachers, Shelly & Lorraine our wonderful adjudicators, Whitney Mosher, Abbi Berge-Millard, and all the friends and family who came to support these dancers! 🩰

Everyone is welcome! Join local Métis artist Haley Bassett to learn about Métis culture and the art of beadwork while contributing to a collaborative community artwork.

Participants will work together to bead sections of a large-scale design that will continue to grow each year at the Peace Arts Festival. Over time, the artwork will reflect the resurgence of beadwork in Dawson Creek and the shared process of learning, creating, and gathering through art.

Beginners and experienced beaders are welcome. 20 free beadwork kits will be available for beginners, while experienced beaders are encouraged to bring their own supplies.

This is a drop-in workshop, and participants are welcome to join anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. There is no requirement to stay for the full duration. Up to four people may bead at one time, and participants are encouraged to rotate out after completing a small section of the design so others may take part.

Come contribute a stitch to a growing community artwork celebrating connection and learning.
