It’s that time of year again! Peabody’s will be closing our summer doors on Monday September 14th!

Don’t fret - if you forgot to renew your passport or have any last minute needs we will reopen for the first two weekends in October to cover you! October 2&3 and 9&10 from 12-5pm!

A camera remembers everything. A field study remembers what mattered. Painted outdoors, often in less than an hour, these works capture Halin’s immediate response to a place before the light changes and the moment passes. Rather than recording every detail, each study reflects what instinct drew him toward, the colour, the atmosphere, and the relationships that give a landscape its character. While some later inspire larger studio paintings, each field study stands on its own as a complete record of a moment that can never be repeated.

Two years ago we got to photograph our favourite musician, Meg Remy and then watch her tear The Palace Grand down wearing the costume.
