Good Afternoon Thunder Nation,

It has been 7 Days since I was told to cease using the Thunder Rock Radio name and threatened with Copyright/Trademark Infringement. I had a few people attempt to look up the claim on the Canadian Trademark Database provided by Service Canada and nothing came up. I asked the gentleman who put forward these threats to provide proof of the registered trademark but I have not heard back from him since.

So, to me, let's get back to business. I will turn the station back on tomorrow morning and we will work on getting everything back in order.

Ok, So Something wild happened tonight, and as I told the guy who contacted me. I guess I should look at it positively that I have garnered this much attention.

Evidently "Thunder Rock Radio" is a trademarked phrase in North America. I was warned about using the phrase on my social media and website. No legal action has been taken as of yet.

So, for now, I will temporarily change the name of the Facebook and Insta pages and will be turning off the stream while we come up with a new name for this thing. Suggestions are welcome. Perhaps we go back to Parkland Power Radio????

Let me know in the comments what the new name of the station should be.
