I take classes as often as I can, and I offer classes for those who want to pursue their painting passion.

Long overdue post about the Hecatina Miniature Painting Showcase which took place in May. The winner of Best in Show was Blake MacAusland. Congratulations, Blake!

Unfortunately most of the other photos did not turn out, so we will not be able to do our usual full photo lineup of all the entries and results.

On a more positive note, we had a meeting last night to launch planning for next years event, which will take place in late April or early May 2027.

Looking forward to the hobby show this weekend at the Sea King Club in Shearwater! Don't forget about the model show on...

Well, with the commercial location of the studio closed, I am back painting at home for the first time in five years. Feels a bit weird actually. The new desk setup is nice, but I am unsure of where to find anything. All the muscle memory is gone and I am sort of starting from scratch. Here is the first mini painted at the new desk.
