The Craig Gallery is staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers, some of whom belong to the Dartmouth Visual Arts Society. Becoming a Craig Gallery Volunteer is a wonderful opportunity to see a wide variety of art, meet new people, and help support the arts in Dartmouth. Alderney Landing Fine Arts Camps are back for 2026! Designed for ages 7–12, these hands-on camps invite kids to explore storytelling, art, filmmaking, folklore, and local culture right here on the Downtown Dartmouth waterfront.

⏰ Camp Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
💲 Cost: $300 per week, per child ($50 sibling discount applies)

After the amazing response to our paper marbling workshops, we’re bringing Ebru to something you can use every day! ✨

Join us at The Craig Gallery on Sunday, June 28 for an Ebru Tote Bags Workshop, where you’ll explore the traditional art of Ebru and create your own one-of-a-kind hand-marbled canvas tote bag.

There are two workshop times available. Choose the session that works best for you, or sign up for both if you’d like to keep creating!

Workshop 1: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Workshop 2: 12:30–1:30 PM

In this hands-on workshop, pigments are floated and gently swirled on water to create flowing florals and abstract designs before being transferred onto fabric. With roots in Central Asia and refined in Turkey, Ebru is a centuries-old art form recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Come experiment, get a little messy, and leave with your own wearable piece of art!

Join artist Antonia Nicolantonakis for a unique hands-on workshop where you’ll design and create your own sterling silver rings using real metalsmithing tools, including a hammer and torch.

Perfect for beginners, this small-group experience will guide you step-by-step through the process of crafting up to three custom sterling silver rings to take home.
