This year was busy and full of moving parts, but thanks to everyone’s patience, hard work, and support, everything came together so smoothly.

From the games and info booth to the performers’ area and behind-the-scenes support, each of you played such an important role in making our 10th anniversary celebration possible.

Get ready for an exciting afternoon of multicultural performances, music, dance, food, art, and community fun at our 10th Anniversary Celebration!

Filipino & English songs, Japanese and Korean rock covers, Chilean folk music, Ukrainian songs, Chinese folk dance, K-pop dance, Mongolian dance, Lion Dance, National Anthem, and our 6-minute Cross Canada Simultaneous Drumming!

Join us at Dartmouth Ferry Terminal Park, right beside Alderney Landing and the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal!

🚢 By Ferry from Halifax
Take the Halifax–Alderney Ferry to the Dartmouth/Alderney Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive, follow the ferry exit signs, the event area is just a short walk away.

🚌 By Bus
You can take Halifax Transit buses to Alderney Gate Ferry Terminal, which is right beside the event site. Bus routes connecting to Alderney Ferry Terminal include Route 5, 6A/6B/6C, 53, 54, 55, 62, 158, 159, 161, 168A and 168B. Please check Halifax Transit before you go for the latest schedules and service updates.

🚗 By Car / Drop-off
Use 88 Alderney Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2Y as your destination. The closest drop-off point is near Alderney Drive. Parking is available on nearby streets and lots.

🚶 Once You Arrive
Look for the Information Booth, then follow the site map to find the Drum Beat Market, Stage, and Drumming Activity Area.

We’re delighted to have Halifax Chinese Language School to Canada Day Drumming HFX 2026!

Their young and adult performers will present a beautiful selection of dance pieces, including Tibetan Folk Dance, Hymn of Spring, Love in the Wind and Lion Dance. Through movement, colour, and tradition, they will bring Chinese cultural arts to life on stage.

This performance is a wonderful celebration of youth, heritage, and community spirit.
