Sunday, September 13, Dartmouth Players is hosting its Annual General Meeting. All the incredible shows you see are only possible because of the many volunteer hours put in year round from our board of directors and volunteers. We’d love to welcome you behind the scenes. If you’re interested, please join us at Ropeworks Theatre, 44 Hester Street, at 7pm. Parking is available in the lot and on Hester and Henry Streets.

In this adaptation of Shirley Jackson's genre-defining novel, an investigation at a haunted house descends into a tale of psychic and psychological terror.

Character:
Eleanor Vance: 20s-40s. Isolated, awkward, and seeking a new beginning.
Theodora: 20s-40s. Sharp-witted, glamorous, and bohemian.
Luke: 20s-40s: Charming and adventurous. Heir to Hill House.
Dr. Montague: 30s-70s: Academic investigating paranormal phenomena at Hill House.
Mrs. Montague: 30s-70s. Overbearing spiritualist.
Arthur: 30s-70s. Mrs. Montague's companion. Headmaster of a boy's school.
Mrs. Dudley: 40s-70s. Rigid and uncanny. Housekeeper at Hill House.

Characters may be of any ethnicity. Ages and genders may be adjusted.
