“Frenchy’s, The Thrift Musical” uses the iconic Maritime thrift store as the back drop to a musical comedy. It is the story of four women from three generations of the same East Coast family who have been distanced by time and Covid and who try, during a twenty-four-hour road trip/reunion, to get along. Gail is going through a divorce and is overwhelmed. Marj is stuck in her jeans and her youthful

glory days. Nineteen-year-old Tessa, Gail’s daughter, has a fashion sense that is unemployable. And the matriarch is Sally, a sixty-five-year mother/grandmother who has a potentially tragic secret. All of these women need to change and the metaphor for that change is clothes. And where do you find clothes at a fraction of regular retail? Frenchy’s.​
