I just happened across this wonderful documentary about Gerald Scarfe and his involvement with Disney’s Hercules. I was familiar with some of his work from Pink Floyd’s the wall, but I didn’t know much else about him. If you watch it, let me know!

I made this design about twelve years ago when my wife and I bought our first house in Dartmouth. For some reason we got a lot of flack about our choice to move to Dartmouth and I found myself saying this phrase quite a bit.
WelI, I figured that since have plans to move the studio from Burnside to a new space here in our home, might be a good time to revive the design. I shared these thoughts on social media a few days ago and it seems like you people agree.

So as of today this shirt is available as a pre-order, and will be up until Noon AST June 19.

This is a pre-order item only I will not be keeping many extras in stock, as a special bonus I have included some colour options for you to choose from. All printed on our favourite super comfy Made in Canada poly/cotton blanks.

Flashback to a couple of years ago. This is one of my favorite prints. But its taking up space and I need to start seriously preparing to move the studio. So Im clearing these out at 50% off. Framed Original also on sale.

This has been out of print for a while now, but I've had a few friends move to Dartmouth, and I'm considering a re-print. Anyone else interested? Let me know.

Hooray Hooray it’s test print Tuesday These two test prints came from the second run of “ Alright, we all move on” Both are available in the shop right now, and guess what! You can use the discount code “junegloom” for 15% off your total order in the shop. https://yetifight.com/collections/originals-and-monoprints

Pretty happy with the second run of "Alright, We all float on" it has a slightly more tropical vibe. This is the last time I'll be able to print these as the separation file got corrupted in Adobe cloud storage, and the positives got damaged after I shot the screens. Available at Yetifight.com

After an unexpected delay our official first day will be this Friday, May 22(tomorrow!). It was a bummer to miss the opening weekend, but we are excited to have a fresh new epoxy floor in the shop. Lori and I have both been busy making new stuff and re-stocking old favourites for this season.

This year I made something specifically for the container shop. I wanted to make something fun, that referenced Saint John’s historic roots. My starting inspiration for this illustration was the iconic “ Loyalist Man” from Reversing falls. I had a lot of fun drawing the Loyalist costume and made a lot of sketches and developed a bunch of characters I call the “Lil’ Loyalists”.

Fun fact, while looking for reference images to try and properly draw the Loyalist's hat I randomly came across a picture of my DAD! Who is retired, but spends his summers as a tour guide in the City, he likes to dress the part (I think he looks great!).

I really enjoyed making the final image, competely hand drawn with pen on regular ole paper. Available as a hand printed art print or t-shirt. Made in Canada and printed by me! I hope you like it!
And don’t forget! The Water Yeti Co-Op opens tomorrow for the season.
Hope to see you there!
