Our call for submissions is open for another three weeks!

Send us your paintings, etchings, sculptures, weaving, pottery, woodworking, photography--and whatever else you’re making--before June 5th. If you’re an artist creating work in NL, we want to see it!!!

Artists receive 50% of the sale price, and the remaining goes to the Cupids Legacy Centre; a beloved community hub that houses a museum, café, and community centre. All funds raised support their programming and infrastructure upkeep so artists and community members can stay connected and keep rural communities vibrant.

Artwork drop-off locations are available in Cupids, St. John’s, and Clarenville.

Free kids workshop offered by the Cupids, Cupers Cove Soiree Sunday July 12th during our festival weekend!

FREE Kids Art Workshop!

Be part of a collaborative community art project!

Join us for a free kids art workshop on Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m.

Open to all ages. PARENT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED, as some materials and techniques may not be suitable for all ages.

About the Workshop

Each participant will design their own unique art square to become part of a giant collaborative quilt-inspired mural. Once assembled onto a large 24x36 mat, the individual pieces will come together to create a colourful community masterpiece celebrating creativity, imagination, and connection.

This final artwork will be displayed at the Cupids Legacy Centre as part of Art Around The Bay.

A variety of materials will be provided, and kids will get to choose whichever ones they would like to use. Fun techniques using different materials will also be demonstrated throughout the workshop.

Your child will have the opportunity to learn and practice using these materials while creating unique works of art.

All participants will receive a certificate recognizing their contribution to the project.

As we wrap up the festival, we want to make sure one of our sponsors, Hume Media Inc., gets the hype they truly deserve.

Artists Loreta Humes and her partner John Humes were incredibly generous—donating high-quality posters for the event and volunteering their time throughout the festival.

On top of that, Loreta was also an exhibiting artist, showcasing three beautiful paintings.
