Eileen Gidman, Watercolour and Textile Artist Eileen Gidman is a watercolour and textile artist. Her textile art consists of painting with dyes onto fabric, curing them so the dye is set.

Thread sketching is often used to embellish the painted fabric. Watercolour paintings are painted on watercolour paper. Textiles are on 100% cotton unless otherwise noted. Hand painted with fibre reactive Procion dyes.

The ‘Summer Garden Collection’:
Months ago the process hatched with an idea. Then there were trips to the Flower Farm for sketches and meetings for the collaboration of ideas. Several sessions of studio painting followed until 6 paintings were selected that depicted what was envisioned. This week was the proofing of prints and finally the delivery of sets of cards to Brittany’s Flower Farm.

May you find the cards just right for sending to your special people.
