Don’t be scared — Cranbrook Community Theatre is a welcoming theatre family, and we will guide you every step of the way. No experience? No problem! Nothing memorized or prepared? That’s completely okay! We will provide a simple reading, and our experienced directors will help guide you through the process.

CCT Gives Back to Our Community!

Cranbrook Community Theatre is proud to recognize Constantine Fisk as the 2026 recipient of the Cranbrook Community Theatre Award at Mount Baker Secondary School.

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN!

Be part of the third and final show of Cranbrook Community Theatre's 2026/2027 season!

Join Matt Van Boeyen in his directorial debut at CCT as he brings Norm Foster's hilarious comedy Sinners to the Stage. While this may be Matt's first time directing for CCT, he is certainly no stranger to Cranbrook stages and the local theatre community.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or looking to step onto the stage for the first time, we'd love to see you at auditions!

Dance Workshop!

One of our long-term renters, Kootenay Dance Flow (AKA, Ecstatic Dance), is hosting an exciting workshop this Saturday at the Studio!

We love hearing their energetic music echo through our halls and seeing our space filled with movement, creativity, and community.

A Special Day at CCT! 🎭💍

Last Saturday was a busy and memorable day at Cranbrook Community Theatre! Not only was it the closing night of Deathtrap, but earlier that day, our Studio was transformed for a beautiful wedding.

Heather Montgomery, daughter of CCT's longtime Lifetime Member Don Montgomery, chose CCT as the venue for her special day. With local flowers, a local photographer, a local dress, and a local venue, supporting the community was an important part of the celebration. Adding to the connection, the groom was our neighbour from right next door at the Fenwick & Baker - Public House, Michael Nix!

We were honoured to host Heather and Michael's wedding. Don has dedicated countless volunteer hours to CCT over the DECADES, and Heather has also been part of our volunteer family.

Moments like these remind us that "For the Community, By the Community" is about more than theatre—it's about bringing people together to celebrate life's special moments.

Congratulations, Heather and Michael, thanks you for sharing your special day with us! ❤️

Deathtrap 50/50 Winner Announced!

Thanks to our amazing audiences, we raised $2,690 over the 10-show run of Deathtrap, making the winning prize $1,345!

Congratulations to Jo Ann Lytle!

In true community spirit, Jo Ann has generously donated $345 of her winnings back to Cranbrook Community Theatre. ❤️

A little reminder with a lot of care behind it.
Key City Theatre is a scent-free facility, and that means we ask everyone to avoid perfume, cologne, scented sprays, strong lotions, and other fragranced products when visiting the theatre.
For some guests, staff, volunteers, and artists, scents can cause serious reactions and make it hard or even impossible to enjoy the show safely. We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable, and able to share the same space without worry. Thank you for helping us keep the theatre accessible, thoughtful, and kind for all.

Please help us keep Key City Theatre scent free.
