Hello everyone, time for another update from us at Hawk and Blade! It's been a tough year for all of us, and you are probably wondering where we are at with our current title we've been posting about all this time.

Health issues have made development difficult, and less of a priority, but we have nevertheless managed to make some progress, which we are sharing with you today.

The month of Dasabara is upon us, so we thought we would give you all the gift of a "Wrap"

The legend goes, "In Thysia if you're bad, Zeyde Soruq will freeze ya."

"If you're good, he might bring you a deerskin with a hood."

"Wait by the fire, to see if he comes with ire."

"This Zolles, you better be honest, cause he's riding his bear through the forest!"

"Zeyde Soruq" is the name for "Grandfather Frost" in the mythical game world of Thysia, he is a *little* more badass than Santa.

Grandfather Frost- Blue skinned, wears only a loin cloth, icy Winter personified with his hair stiffened with hoarfrost. He has power over the season, and can freeze people with a soul chilling cold. He can raise a bear from hibernation to ride it. He rewards charitable deeds with a magical blessing (+1 to next 3 combats, etc.) He gives gifts to children on the day of Zolles who wait by the fire, the fire goes out, and the gift appears, and when taken, the fire returns. For bad children he will steal their boots. (during Winter!)

Hi everyone, a new update for the page, we spoke with a lawyer, to get some advice on a few things, and he was great, answered all my questions and gave some great advice. His name is Shaun Cody, of New Horizons Law. I recommend him highly.

Just to let everyone know, we are still hard at it, working away on things behind the scenes. In the month of "Maj" (May) we had meetings with a business analyst who liked our plan, and a branding expert, and that bodes well for the future.

It has been a long time between updates, but there is one for the month of "Elokuu." We have been working on that red tape stuff mentioned in the last post. It takes time away from actual development, but once completed the studio will be on a solid foundation to bring you the best game(s) in their genre. (Bragging?) Yes. Our goal? Yes.

For those that are following our blog and social media there was no post for the past month of "Vasaris" but there is one for the month of "Brezan" and here it is!

We are working away on the "Des doc" (Design Document) and business related things, (that fun red tape stuff.) and will soon be searching for a programmer, (Javascript) to add to the team. If interested, (and qualified) join our newsletter on the site, and introduce yourself!

We offer team members profit sharing in the game, (the better the game, the better the sales, the more money team members make!) We are a fun company, (like our games) and also serious, (like our plans for success.)
