Since 1983, the Comox Valley has shown up for its neighbours. Today that looks like 200 local families fed every day, over 100,000 lbs of food rescued every month, and home deliveries for people who can’t make it in on their own.

None of that happens without someone keeping our office running.

That’s the job.

📋 Donations and donor records in Keela, accounts payable, bank deposits, payroll administration
📊 Food rescue reporting and society records
📞 Booking home deliveries and speaking with clients by phone
💵 $24/hour, full time, Monday to Friday
🩺 Benefits including extended health and dental
🌴 Paid time off, stat holidays off
🚗 Free parking, casual dress, and a team that genuinely likes working together

This is detailed work with meaning. Two or more years of administrative experience preferred. An interest in marketing and social media would be an asset.

Community Enrichment Grants have different maximum request amounts depending on the funding option:

One-year grants
🏠 Housing Stability & Basic Needs — up to $20,000
💛 Mental Health & Connection — up to $20,000
🌱 Capacity Building — up to $20,000

Three-year grants — Stream 1 only

Up to $30,000 per year for up to three years

Your request should reflect the actual cost of the work you are proposing and the amount needed to deliver it effectively.
