Powell School of Dance is a multi-disciplined school, offering an education in the fine art of dance

The Powell School of Dance mission statement is very simple. It is our long-term plan to continue to bring a level of excellence to our students, in providing an education in the fine art of dance, and in so doing, raise the awareness of arts and culture in the community of Cornwall and area. Our objective is to promote good health and quality physical education to our young people, contributing toward strong, healthy adults and productive future citizens of our country.

Our drop-in option makes it easy to come try a class, fit dance into your schedule, or enjoy a little special one-on-one time with your little dancer — whenever it works for you!

These classes are all about connection, movement, music, and making those precious early memories together. No dance experience necessary!

We’re excited to offer two special classes designed for our littlest dancers and their grown-ups! ✨

🤍 Me & My Shadow | Non-Walking / Baby-Wearing
Brand new this season! Designed specifically for babies and little ones who aren’t walking yet, this class allows caregivers and their little dancers to experience music and movement together in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Baby-wearing is welcome and encouraged! 👶✨

👣 Dance Discovery | Walking Infants
A fun, engaging introduction to dance for little ones who are confidently on the move! With the support of a parent, grandparent, or caregiver, dancers will explore movement, music, rhythm, and the joy of dancing together.
