It is with full but heavy hearts that we announce the closing of The Hangout as of March 30th, 2024.

Almost 5 years ago our dreams came true by bringing this little business to life.
We want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your business and your friendship.

We felt so lucky to be apart of your community, to share in your family fun days and celebrate your childrens birthdays with you. So many days we left work with our cheeks hurting from laughter and our cups spilling over from your support.

This was not an easy decision to make. However, with the ever rising costs associated with operating a small business and the increasing popularity in home VR gaming …. the time has come.

We encourage everyone with gift certificates to book VR appointments now through our FB page. Your certificates can be used for gaming or at the cafe.

All March bookings will be honoured but we have closed our bookings past March 30th.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 12-2
*** VR by appointment only ***
(no walk ins, but if you book, we will be there)
Friday & Saturday 11-8
Sunday 11-6

We've got two awesome Youth Nights planned on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16 at The Hangout NL and Riverdale Fun Centre.

🎫The FREE tickets go on sale tomorrow, February 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and won't last long. Youth Night is for ages 18 and under.

🎲 Youth Night at The Hangout NL
Each session is 1 hour and 20-minute and provides full access to all the gaming experiences offered by The Hangout, including Nintendo Switch, Retro Video Game Consoles, Board Games, and the Virtual Reality Rooms! The first session will be for ages 15 and under from 5:00 – 6:20 p.m. The second session will be for ages 16 – 18 from 7:40 – 9:00 p.m. Any parents attending the event with their children are not required to register.

Registered participants will receive a free bag of tokens to be used on all games in the arcade! Any parents attending the event with their children are not required to register.

Hi guys,

We apologize for the funny hours we’ve had this last week. There were a few things beyond our control and necessary appointments that had to be kept.
