***WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 2 MARKET CANCELLED***

Due to the expected high winds forecasted for tomorrow (Wednesday September 2) we have made the hard decision to CANCEL the market.

We don't make these decisions lightly. The safety of our vendors, customers and staff is our top priority. Although we are open rain or shine, there are some weather conditions where it is just not safe to stay open. Tomorrow is one of those days.

Don't worry though, we still have two more Wednesday markets (September 9 and 16) after tomorrow where you can get your mid-week local on.

Thanks for all your support. We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!

Back to school is just around the corner.

With students returning on September 8, our roads, sidewalks and crossings will be busier. Drivers are reminded to help keep students safe:

Watch your speed. School zones are a maximum of 30 km/h during posted hours.

No distractions. Put your phone away and keep your attention on the road.

Expect crossings. Watch carefully for students walking, biking and rolling to school, especially near intersections and crosswalks.

A little extra caution can make a big difference. Please slow down and help us start the school year safely.
