EVERY child deserves a standing ovation... THEIR time in the spotlight! ⭐️

Resonance introduces LIGHTS UP! - a 12 week after school program starting Sept 17th where young performers build confidence, discover their creative voice and experience the thrill of bringing a show to life together!

Led by experienced theatre educator Greg Gibson, whose energy, expertise and ability to connect with young performers make every rehearsal engaging, this 12 week program introduces the fundamentals of singing, acting and movement through musical theatre repertoire, games, improv, character development and ensemble work.

Students will receive individual coaching and learn from professional guest instructors in acting and choreography.

No previous theatre experience is required!
Ages 9–14

Slow down, soften, and return to a place of PRESENCE, CONNECTION and AUTHENTICITY ✨️

Welcome to Living Magik - a monthly offering here at Resonance! Join us this month on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 2pm

Guided by Valentine Giambattista, this 1.5 to 2 hour somatic experience weaves together deep relaxation, gentle nervous system exercises, group EFT tapping, and Yin and Restorative Yoga. Each practice supports you in feeling more grounded, regulated, and embodied in who you truly are.

The experience concludes with an immersive sound bath featuring Lady Jupiter (the Jupiter gong), alongside other instruments. Afterward, you’re invited to stay, connect, and give the experience time to integrate. Oracle cards will be available to support reflection and deepen your connection to yourself and something greater.

At the heart of Valentine’s work is the belief that magic lives within us all, and that “the most spiritual thing you can do is be your most authentic self.” Living Magik creates space to remember both. All are welcome!

Have you got your EARLY BIRD ticket yet for Dancing Into Balance on Sept 17th with Kudos Lokey? 👀

Fall Equinox happens only once a year, providing us with a great opportunity to move into the sharpest time of the year. Dancing into Balance is an ecstatic dance journey orchestrated by Toronto-based DJ and producer and community favourite, Kudos Lokey!

Arrive and have a moment to connect and land into self, explore the inspiring installations throughout the space, including a special Autumn Equinox altar created by Leslie Brennan to honour the turning of the season.

The journey begins with an introduction and activation meditation with Paz, followed by a warm-up flow with Hailey Dobis. From there, the movement journey with Kudos Lokey will lead the way into the Rising Fall, closing all together in a circle to complete the activation.

After a full day of school it's time to SHAKE things out, get CREATIVE and have some fun! ✨️

This fall, we’re THRILLED to be collaborating with educator Morgan D’Aloisio, founder of Open Minds, on a 10 week afterschool program that gives kids space to explore exactly that.

Wednesday afternoons will be filled with yoga and movement, mindset practices, EFT tapping, games, art, creative expression and plenty of play. Morgan has a wonderful ability to meet kids where they are and introduce these practices in ways that feel natural, engaging and fun.

The goal isn’t for kids to sit around talking about feelings for two hours. It’s to move, make things, laugh, play, connect and start building an understanding of themselves while they’re at it.

FOLLOW your imagination… TRUST your creative instincts… and CREATE before you have time to overthink it! 🎨

The ART Circle is the beginning of a new monthly offering at Resonance led by artist Amos Marsters!

This is a creative gathering built around intuition, movement and the unexpected. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to join - all are welcome!

Pick up the charcoal. Follow the shape. Reach for the colour that catches your eye. Add something to a piece already in motion. Then move again: a new prompt, a new medium, a new group and something completely different taking shape.

Amos brings together intuitive art making, movement and creative play to shake up our usual habits around creating. You’ll experiment with different techniques and mediums, collaborate in unexpected ways, and bring all of that energy into a piece of your own to take home!

Alma Corazón is Karen Steele’s signature movement class: a fiery fusion of yoga-inspired sequences, cardiovascular conditioning, and strength-based practices designed to challenge the body, build power, and ignite your inner fire.

You will experience a dynamic blend of yoga-inspired movement, cardiovascular activation, and strength-based practice designed to get energy moving through the body. It’s a space to release what’s been held, reconnect to your breath, and come back into a sense of inner strength.

Kirtan is coming to Resonance -- a beautiful, uplifting evening of live music + call-and-response chanting, where voices come together through mantra, rhythm and song.

We’re so excited to welcome special guests John, Michelle + Brian Paul D.G. all the way from Saskatoon, joined by our own Paz Ciuk on percussion.

You’ll be guided through healing mantras from Sanskrit, Vedic, Tibetan and modern traditions -- no singing or Kirtan experience needed. Just come, add your voice, listen, feel + be part of it. 💛

Living Magic is a 1.5–2 hour somatic experience focused on slowing down, nervous system regulation, embodiment, and real human connection. This practice invites you to reconnect with your true self and the natural sense of magic that lives within you, supporting you in feeling more present, grounded, and embodied in who you truly are.

The experience includes deep relaxation, gentle nervous system exercises, group EFT tapping, and yin/restorative yoga, and concludes with a deeply immersive sound bath featuring Lady Jupiter (the Jupiter gong) and other instruments.

After the experience, you are invited to stay to integrate the practice and connect more deeply with each other. Oracle cards will be available to support reflection, help the insights settle, and deepen your connection to yourself and something greater.

This is a practice of slowing down and reconnecting to the magic within you. You will leave feeling grounded, supported, and embodied in your True Self. You’re welcome to bring a mat and any props or supports you may need. All are welcome.

Dancing into Balance: Fall Equinox Ecstatic Dance.

Thursday, September 17, 7-9 pm

Transitions mark great moments of opportunity for intentional change. Fall Equinox happens only once a year, and this is your chance to step fully into the sharpest, most alive time of the season. Dancing into Balance is an ecstatic dance journey orchestrated by Toronto based DJ and producer, and community favorite, Kudos Lokey. Expect bass that moves like breath, rhythm that pulls you beneath the mind and into the wisdom of the body.

Arrive early, land into self, and explore the space, including a special Autumn Equinox altar by Leslie Brennan honoring the turning of the season.

The journey opens with an introduction and activation meditation with Paz, followed by a warm up flow with Hailey Dobis. Then Kudos Lokey takes the wheel and leads the movement journey into the Rising Fall. We close together, in circle.

This is a focused, silent experience (no chatting during the dance), holding space for deeper reflection, processing, and introspection.
