We are thrilled to introduce the players for this summer's Bard on the Bay production: TWELFTH NIGHT 🎵 💜 🎵

We have many returning guest artists who you will remember from past TGB shows, and we also welcome some new faces to the Shipyards Amphitheatre stage! We all look forward to bringing this Shakespearean comedy of love and music to you this summer!

🎂 🥳 IT'S SHAKESPEARE'S BIRTHDAY 🥳 🎂

On April 23 we celebrate the birth of the incomparable playwright, William Shakespeare. A playwright whose works are still performed all over the world to this day, even on Collingwood's Shipyards Amphitheatre stage!

Bringing Shakespeare's plays to Simcoe County is what our Bard on the Bay summers are all about - and we are excited to bring you 🎶 TWELFTH NIGHT 🎶 this July!

🎉🥳 IT'S TIME TO PARTY! 🥳🎉
and celebrate the launch of our 10th ANNIVERSARY SEASON!!

📍 April 26 at The Simcoe Street Theatre, in Collingwood. Doors open at 1:00pm, with a presentation beginning at 2:30pm

You are invited to join us at this drop-in style event for the official opening of our 2026 season. There will be much to celebrate: 10 years since the birth of our company, a cast announcement for this summer's production of 🎵 Twelfth Night 🎵, and the kick-off of our Silent Auction Fundraiser!

Please help us welcome the wonderful LESLEY COO as the newest member of the TGB Collective!
💙 🥳 💙

Although a long-time supporter, Lesley's first official venture with TGB was working as Stage Manager for last summer's Bard on the Bay, "The Winter's Tale" 🐻 Lesley brings a dynamic skill set to the team, and we are so excited to have her as a permanent member of the Collective!

Lesley has been working as a stage manager since retiring from teaching. She is thrilled that some of her students credit her for inspiring their interest in working in the arts.
Lesley is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors for The South Simcoe Theatre in Cookstown.
When not working on or going to see shows, Lesley loves to spend time with her two grandchildren, travel with her husband Dan, putter in the garden and bake anything sweet.

Three Fun Facts to know about Lesley:
🫖 She has never met a Cream Tea she didn't love (tea, scone, clotted cream and jam)
⛱️ Summer is her favourite season - with Spring being a close second
🇬🇧 She was born in Bradford-on-Avon, England and lived for over 25 years in Bradford, Ontario.
