What an experience!
I can’t even begin to put into words how much this last week has meant to me. I may not be coming out of it exactly what we all hoped for but I’m coming out of this opportunity feeling so blessed.
I want to send so many Thank Yous.
To my Committee, thank you for trusting me to represent the Moose Mountain Pro Rodeo. I’m so blessed to represent the community and passion that goes into this rodeo.
To Jill, thank you for choosing me. I’m beyond blessed to have you in my corner.
To my parents, thank you for having my back and supporting me through all my crazy dreams. For the late nights and early mornings, the miles travelled and the encouragement. Thank you for raising me with strong values and shaping me into who I am today.
To my extended family, thank you for the borrowed trucks, trailers and horses when needed. For driving hours to see me carry a flag and doing it all with endless support.
To my fellow Contestants, thank you for being my friends and for creating memories that will last a lifetime.
To the MRC Board, thank you for the amount of effort you put into MRC every year.
And to My Canada, Abbey. Thank you for being a role model and showcasing what true passion for Rodeo is. You have Held your title with Grace and poise even in hard situations and have been there for me every step of the way. I will forever be thankful for you.
And to Saskatchewan, thank you for giving me a place to grow, experience and a place to represent. For the fields of wheat and the living Skies. I’m beyond proud of my Saskatchewan roots and I truly hope that one day, we will have many Saskatchewan Queens running for this title.
