Red Ant Retro restores and operates arcade machines in Cold Lake!

And fixed! The woodgrain upright cabinet is back up and running at Axes & Apples () in downtown Cold Lake. Come play Sega’s arcade remake of for just a quarter!

They also have axe throwing, Alcoholic Apple Ciders (and other drinks) as well as lots of other arcade games plus a nice patio you can book for parties and events.

Project Neon is coming soon! I pre-ordered a copy of this exciting new indie-developed Neo Geo MVS game.

Designed to have a vertically oriented screen, it’s not a standard MVS game so whatever I do to run it it’ll be less a traditional setup. Keep an eye out as see what f it comes to a location near you.

Another power supply swap is coming to my woodgrain cabinet at Axes & Apples!

It appears I put a bad one in there last time. Mario Bros. Was starting to have some issues after I the last one died. I’ll be replacing it with this one pictured here. As you can see it’s tested to run with the proper 5VDC as is required.

Once it’s up and running you’ll be able to play Choplifter in the next few days or so.

This just arrived! Brand new bezel plexi with BurgerTime artwork. Modified by ours personally to fit on the next cabinet I’m working on that will host all those vertical 1-player games like Donkey Kong, Lock n Chase, Frogger and yes, BurgerTime.

And here it is… the fantastic King of Dragons!

You may look at the board and think ok but we got a version on the SNES that was really faithful. To be honest I like that version too, however it doesn’t even compare to the visuals, added animations and features of the original. Oh and you can play 3-player. 🙂
