Forgot to post my latest piece for Alberta Craft Council which sold on opening night. The challenge was repurpose old jewelry, I used old watches to make a clock tower, a bracelet into bricks, and brooches for building moulding. The house is based old houses of Philly row then other architectural details- moulding, bridge, windows chimneys then of course- light! The umbrellas are made with origami paper and reflect the light in green and pink. Every side is different but the hardest part was getting it to balance level.

My newest obsession are felt creations, it started with mushrooms and before I knew I had made over 40, so next it was veggies, I am now working on fruit. I am going to use felt stuffies to make magical vignettes. Here is the first one, enjoy!

Latest piece, light up Christmas Advent Calendar. The houses are based on Amsterdam canal house, tall and colored. Mini lights behind houses the battery pack has a timer so you can set to come on in the evening. Boxes are 1.5"x1.5"

This one is called the Birds of Paradise a funky house with lots of windows, alcoves and odd roof peaks the top lift off the base so you can change the light bulb. Made from chipboard, foam, and paint. I design in corel draw, cut with a laser engraver than bend, shape and glue together to form house.

Working on some new project/creations for a craft show i am attending in December. This one is a teapot fairy house, inside is mini lights and the battery pack is stored in the books. The perfect accent for child's room. Made with cardstock, foam, modeling paste, paint and scenery turf/flowers.
