In 2018, I was diagnosed with PTSD due to my tour in Afghanistan in 2009. In 2019, I felt I needed something more to help my mental health over and above therapy and medication and decided to pick up a paintbrush and some cheap paints and paint for the first time in much too long. There began a healing, beautiful journey through art that still continues to this day. Through Youtube videos and prac

tice, I taught myself to paint. I discovered that I love to paint colorful things that make me happy and spark memories. I'm now retired from the military and still working daily on my mental health. I also decided to start my fine art business to spread some of the joy. I will be offering my oil, acrylic, and gouache paintings for sale, both originals and prints. I will also have other products such as cards, bookmarks, and anything else that I get the inspiration to paint on. Thank you for coming with me on this crazy ride!
