Father’s Day Dinner & Carve
Join us for a special Father’s Day Dinner & Carve at Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre. Enjoy a Red Seal chef-prepared dinner followed by a guided soapstone carving experience with artist Michael Emery. This relaxed, beginner-friendly evening is all about slowing down, getting out of your head and into your hands, and creating something meaningful together. Each guest will leave with a finished stone carving of their own.

Sip & Sculpt #3 — what an incredible group.
So much fun watching everyone get out of their heads and into their hands, exploring creativity and creating something uniquely their own. The energy in the room was exactly what these experiences are all about — relaxed, open, and fully present.

Sip and Sculpt Friday!

Due to popular demand, Michael Emery and Route 22 will be hosting another hands-on soapstone carving workshop in May! Enjoy some refreshments from our cash bar while you learn the fundamentals of shaping stone and creating a finished sculptural piece!

Participants will learn basic carving techniques, safe material handling, and simple hand-sanding methods using water to reduce dust. With the ability to choose from a small set of pre-selected shapes and designs, participants will be able to create a finished sculptural piece. The emphasis is on process, experimentation, and creative confidence rather than artistic perfection.

No prior experience is required, and each participant will leave with a completed stone carving they created themselves.

Date: May 15th, 2026

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery, Cochrane AB

Price: $50 (+ GST | Fees)

We led our first corporate workshop at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with AMA — and the moment hands hit stone, something shifted.

The room went quiet. Not awkward quiet. Focused quiet.

That's what carving does. It pulls people out of their inbox brain and into the present moment — no slides, no frameworks, just the work right in front of them.

For a leadership group that lives inside high-stakes decisions, the reset was visible.
