In 2017 I went to my first Paint Nite, and that is where my love of painting began. I bought some cheap paint and canvases after that and started to learn by watching YouTube videos. There are so many great inspiring and insightful artists out there! I am still a learning artist and enjoy every minute I can creating something new. This past winter I decided to try fluid art, a completely different

form with many techniques and ways to create. Either way any technique I do brings me joy and I hope something I’ve created can bring you joy as well.

Yesterday I decided to paint over a mountain painting that I hated. I love the bright yellow flowers and dark background. This one is part of the series Flowers with Meaning. In this collection, a square reminds us to always think outside the box, to never feel trapped and to bravely explore beyond our comfort zone.
“Love” and “Amor,” paired with two or more hearts, serve as a constant reminder to choose love in every situation. A fallen flower to honour those who came before us , those we’ve lost and those who may feel left behind encouraging us to always remember and honour them. #
