With the Grain & Photos by Amanda Nelson Hi! Welcome to my page, I started hand painting signs for quite a few years and now making the change to sharing my photography here. Located in Clinton, BC.

I will have the odd sign here and there, but main focus will be my photography. My name is Amanda Nelson and With the Grain is a little something I came up with on my spare time that, so far, I work with pallets making signs, garden boxes, repurposing wooden furniture and creating growth charts.

The market was such a success today! I was a little worried, being out in the open today when the wind started picking up, but I managed it. This was my first market in nearly a month, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Thank you everyone that came out today and showed your support, either by buying something, or by just looking around. It really means a lot that my photography is appreciated.
The giant eagle canvas print sold today, it got way more attention than I thought it was going to and I’m so happy about that, because I was a little concerned about the size 😅

I’ve been thinking of ways to stand out a bit more at markets, since I am tucked away in a garage bay, luckily being able to be out of the weather! When there’s tents on either side of me, it’s easy to get missed, so I’ve been brainstorming ideas.
That’s when Trevor surprised me with this sandwich board he made so I could turn it into signage that I can take to markets. Now just to stain it and figure out what to have it say.

Something else new, photography books!
42 pages I believe is what they ended up being.
These have been over a year in the making after quite a few requests.
I only have 3 at the moment, see how they do. More can be ordered!
