Hello everyone, I am sorry it has been so long since you have heard from me. It is with a very heavy heart and a lot of contemplation that I come to you today.
I have been having back issues this past year, and it now seems that I will be having back surgery later on this year, and I am not sure what my future holds for my health.
I have missed each and every one of you. The bright smiling faces before and after tattoos. Sparkle Tattoo by Nicole was so much more than just a business to me. It was an artistic outlet, and a social outlet of course. I was so proud of what I was doing and how. It was a way to interact with your wonderful children in all of their unique, precocious, hilarious, serious, and beautiful ways, and I loved it all. I had just as much, or more fun doing them as they did getting them. Doing tattoos on the adults was even better, as I got to see the child in them if just for those few minutes. Oh, what a joy that was.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my sponsors over the years. You were gracious enough to choose a small business to sponsor for the big events in town, for that I am so grateful. Each time one of you did this, it allowed me to provide free tattoos to everyone who wanted one at the event. I was so blessed to have these businesses choose me to spend their money and support on. Because of them, I was able to continue my work free of charge to all the major town events for the 6 years I was in business.
The biggest of which was The Town of Claresholm, as they always let me set up and be present at these events, as well as funding me for many events. Paul from Claresholm Pharmacy has also been a huge support these last years during Old Fashioned Christmas.
Thank you(in no special order) to Shell, Flowers on 49th, Claresholm Pharmacy, Claresholm Kinsmen, Willow Creek Dental office, Claresholm Veterinary Services, Maxwell Capital Realty, and Brandt. These sponsors helped me to provide a free glitter tattoo to anyone who wanted one at any of our town celebrations. I loved this for people, as it is something more unique to our small towns than the big cities (having as many free things available as possible).
I hope I didn't forget anyone; if I did, I am really sorry. Thank you to everyone who took a chance on me and believed in me.
More important than anyone else are my customers! The mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, etc., and the kids! All of you who time after time, no matter the weather (there have been some extreme weather days too), you still stood in the long lineups to come and get one of our tattoos or even better, specifically one of mine. The fact that regardless of how hot or if it was pouring rain, there were always two lines non-stop the entire time the event was on. This was something that always blew my mind, and I always felt so incredibly blessed š for. Thank you!
I know this is so long, and if you have read this far, I really appreciate it. I am just really proud of the business I created and heartbroken to have to let it go. Thank you all for your support and being a part of my memories š.
