I’m Zoe Bohnet director of Step in Time Dance Centre, here in Claresholm Alberta. I wanted to briefly share my dance journey and teaching qualifications. I started dancing when I was 6 years old at Studio 2 Stage Dance Academy in Fort St John BC. Where I danced competitively and taught dance till graduating high school. My dance training continued in Edmonton, at Pique Dance Centre and the U of A,
while I completed my undergraduate degree. I have trained in many disciplines of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, acrobatics, contemporary and hip hop. Additionally, I have 9 years of experience teaching dance. Through the CDTA (the Canadian Dance Teachers Association) I have completed numerous examinations in tap, jazz and acro. My ballet training and examinations have been through RAD (the Royal Academy of Dance). I also have a Bachelors of Elementary Education through the University of Alberta. I am excited to offer classes in the community of Claresholm!
