As our Aurora season is winding down we would like to thank every group who stood under the dancing sky, bundled up in the cold, watching the aurora glow above our iconic teepee. Your excitement, laughter, and awe are what make each night so special.

A huge thank you as well to the tour operators and guides who work tirelessly behind the scenes and out in the elements to create such magical experiences for every visitor. Your knowledge, warmth, and passion turn a night of viewing the lights into something people will remember for a lifetime. 💚

Happy Louis Riel Day!

Manitoba is the heart of the Métis Nation, with families tracing ancestry back to the historic Red River Settlement.

Louis Riel stood up for Métis rights and helped shape Manitoba, he is the founder of Manitoba in 1870. Today, he is remembered as a symbol of Métis resistance, resilience, and identity.

For Métis families, dogsledding supported travel, trade, trapping, and connection between communities when the land was frozen. Today, Wapusk Adventures keeps dogsledding as a living tradition that honours resilience, skill, and respect for the land.
