While cutting out the cutting boards, I generated some pretty cool offcuts, so, I glued the pairs together, put a base onto them, and then made chip trays. The pig and the duck had enough room to add in the dip bowls, so, I decided to do so. These are also oiled with food safe oil. I'm selling these for $50, they took a long time to actually make, even from offcuts.

When a Woodworker says that they can never have too many clamps, this is what we're talking about. I used up every small clamp I had to glue these 3 things up, and still could have put a few more on, but, didn't want to use the larger clamps.

A few serving boards that I made on my CNC this weekend, the big walnut ones are double live edge, while the wine bottle shaped ones were carved out on the CNC first, and then the lettering carved in and filled with epoxy. I put handles and feet on the larger boards, just to make them nicer to handle. Do you think I should put a hole in the bottle shaped ones for hanging, though, I was unsure.

With the success of the heart trays, I designed these star trays, and same as the heart trays, the inner portion was made into a small jewellery box, but because clearly I couldn't attach hinges to this, it swings open on a pivot.

So, same as the heart trays, should I sell them as 1 nested unit, or individually. Again, I feel that I'd have to ask at least 300 again for the amount of time it took to make this, but, I'm worried no one will pay that much.

I'm learning my new CNC router, I hated all the waste from just carving one dish out of a block of wood, so, I redesigned this from the ground up, made 2 exact copies, rotated the grain on the second, then glued them together, except the centre bit. All the trays then had plywood bottoms glued on, and then they're all finished and nesting, while the 2 remaining inner halves had a hinge and a hasp installed to make a little jewellery box.

So, question, should I sell this as one large set, or break them up into individual pieces. The cost of the wood was relatively low, but the shocking amount of work it took to make these was hours, and I'm not including the time it spent on the CNC either. As a whole set, in order to actually make a decent profit, I figure I'd have to sell the whole set for at least $300, but would anyone pay that.

Now completed and ready for their Pirates, I mean owners. These hasps were a pain in the backside to install, they're tiny and fiddly, and my big hands just don't like doing that sort of thing. Can't wait to have the kids share their pics of how they paint and decorate them.
