Red Wheelbarrow Art Studio - Art Therapy - Jessica Pauls

Red Wheelbarrow Art Studio - Art Therapy - Jessica Pauls Providing adapted art lessons and art therapy to all ages. My name is Jessica Pauls and I love to create art and share my love of art with others.

I am a BC certified teacher (K-12) with a specialization in visual arts (UFV, SFU). Art classes at the Red Wheelbarrow Art Studio began when I left my job as a high school art teacher, to stay home with my children. I have professional certification as an art therapist through the Canadian Art Therapy Association, and studied at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. I offer adapted art classes and

art therapy, either online or in person. I have a home based studio and some flexibility to meet in your home or a park setting. Please send your questions to [email protected] for more information.

Soothing to watch, and might possibly inspire someone to pick up a brush and use paints that are asking to be used. If you use this tutorial I would love to see your painting. Please post your pictures in the comments. I will add one too.

A set of four pottery classes starts today at 6pm. So far the class is shaping up to be a nice group of preteens! There are still spaces available. If I emailed registration forms to you, your child is on the list! If you haven't received registration forms I don't yet know to expect you or your child.

Today's goal will be to make the pieces for our "gingerbread" houses so they can be assembled next week. If there is enough time, we will make small bird sculptures that can either be hung from the tree or be placed on a stick to use as a plant ornament...or really to add a touch of delight anywhere.

I'm looking forward to tonight!

There is a new start date for the upcoming clay hand building classes. This set will now start one week later than originally planned, and go one week later. The new dates are Nov. 26, Dec 3, 10, and 17. The time is from 6:00pm -7:30pm. The cost for all four sessions is $85. There is still room to register. Please send a message with your email address if you would like to register.

For anyone wanting to register a child in the upcoming set of pottery classes, I will be emailing the registration forms today. Please message me your email address if you haven't already done that. For those without a printer at home, I will have forms available on Monday, but would appreciate a confirmation message with your child's name and age. Thanks!
