Coup d'État Theatre Coup d'État Theatre is currently rehearsing Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening: A Children's Tragedy.

Written in 1891, Spring Awakening was first produced in Berlin in 1906, directed by Max Reinhardt. Spring Awakening is the story of a group of unfortunates coming-of-age in an impersonal, sexually repressed society. Coup d'Etat's version will be performed at the new Garden Street Theatre in Abbotsford July 20-22 and 27-29, 2012. Stay tuned for performance information, making-of videos, and product

ion shots! Our last production, Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, was performed at the University of the Fraser Valley's Directors Theatre Festival from April 27 - May 1 and at the Theatre BC Fraser Valley Zone Festival in May 2011. The cast and crew were as follows:
