I must go where the mountains meet the sky! ⛰️

This painting shows the view from the Mount Seymour hike in North Vancouver.

We are so privileged to live in such a beautiful place that has endless hiking trails 👣 for us to explore.

Help me out. What should I name this painting? 🖼 Let me know below.

Ready to paint 🎨 at the Chilliwack Fair!

I have toned the surfaces, painted the underpainting, and figured out my colours to save time.

Come say hi 👋 at the Artist Corner.

The reference photos were taken by me. It is always advisable to use your own photos.

From a sketch at last year’s Chilliwack Fair to a finished piece today! 🎨 This is my view of the Vedder River from the trail. This peaceful corner of the world holds a huge piece of my heart. I hope we can all work to keep it clean, protected, and beautiful for generations to come. 🌲✨

What’s your favourite spot along the Vedder? Let me know below! 👇

It's time that I introduce myself as I see some new followers. My name is Sandra, and I love to share my art! I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, as my brain seems to think this way. I am also a self-taught artist.

I started sharing my artwork with the public through social media in 2020. I quickly made friends with other creatives, and they encouraged me to take an online course on how to sell artwork online. After much positive feedback, I proceeded to submit 10 paintings to be reviewed through a jury process for possible membership for the Canadian Federation of Canadian Artists. I was approved as an Exhibiting member. I have had the privilege to exhibit my paintings at the Federation Gallery in Granville Island. My goal is to work my way up to become an Associate and then Signature membership status with the FCA.

I stepped back for a bit after the loss of loved ones, but now I am working my way back to doing more of what I love.

Thank you for following and supporting my art journey. 🎨

I just finished my piece for , with all proceeds supporting those affected by Alzheimer's!

The 2026 Postcard Art Exhibit scene represents the obstacles Alzheimer's patients face with fallen trees on the water. The changing leaves symbolize the passage of time and lost memories. Yet, the tall trees surrounding the water remind me of the people who love and support them and help them journey forward.🍂🍁

I have included the reference photo. I took this photo on a school field trip to Thompson Regional Park in Chilliwack. I'm thrilled that this part of my life will find itself all the way to the Netherlands for a good cause. 🫶
