HEY EVERYBODY BEWARE! TICKS ARE STILL OUT THERE!!! Since our After School Program is full of FRESH AIR FUN we wanted to remind everyone that the TICKS are still very present in our wooded areas. So please STAY SAFE and always CHECK YOUR KIDS FOR TICKS.

Nova Scotia Public Health Reminder: Practice Tick Safety! There are several kinds of ticks in Nova Scotia, but only the blacklegged tick can pass on the bacteria that causes tick-borne illness, such as Lyme disease. Always do a thorough tick check of you and your loved ones after spending time outdoors, including the hairline, behind the ears, the back of the neck, armpits, elbows, around the waist, the back of the knees, and between toes.

Visit www.NovaScotia.ca/TickSafety for tips on how to protect you and your loved ones.

HOW'S THIS FOR AWESOME?!!! We had our 1st TRIPLE THREAT PERFORMANCE session on Sunday and according to our truly talented instructor Callie Turner, we have participants from 6 different schools from South Shore Regional Centre for Education!!! Aspotogan Consolidated Elementary School (ACES), Bayview Community School, Centre scolaire de la Rive-Sud, Chester Area Middle School (CAMS), Chester District Elementary School (CDES) and New Ross Consolidated School (NRCS) AMAZING RIGHT?!!!

We're so happy to have such a great group to enjoy our new program, as they explore musical theatre and prepare for a fantastically festive performance at the Chester Playhouse Theatre on Saturday, December 19th, 2026. YAY!!!!

💥PLEASE NOTE 💥We plan to host a second season, so if you've got an aspiring performer in your world who's looking to build their skills in SINGING, DANCING and ACTING but missed out on this round reach out at [email protected] and we'll add them to the waitlist for Season 2!!!
