Trembling Aspen Pottery Trembling Aspen Pottery is the work of Laura Gosnell. All pots are created individually, crafted by Clay classes were a reward for completing her studies.

Laura began working in clay in 1998, right after graduating with an environmental biology degree. Little did she know it would start her on an entirely different path of learning. Not forgetting her science studies, Laura is driven to work in a sustainable manner and is exploring studio practices that reduce energy consumption and promote the responsible use of material. She strives to make beautiful work that endures, in hopes to counter the current consumer trend towards the disposable.

I’m very excited to be teaching a workshop hosted by the Clay Artists of Terrace Society at the end of May. It’s a lively homecoming of sorts, as I was one of the founding members over 20 years ago!
