Obsessed with eyes and hair within his practice, René-Lionel challenges people's sensuality. René-Lionel is an artist who emphasizes the sensual expression of popular characters and creates a visual language for romance based on first sight. The works conceptually emphasize non-verbal feelings. René-Lionel challenges the notion of “admirer of beauty” by playing on the idea of being “an observer with one’s heart”. All artworks from the artist respect the "positive depiction" of the person drawn.
