Every life has a soundtrack.

In I’m Still Standing, Devon L. Hansen invites the audience into an evening of music and storytelling about the songs, people, challenges, and moments that have marked the chapters of his life.

The program will include solo piano selections spanning classical, musical theatre, film, and jazz standards — from Elton John and Billy Joel to Tchaikovsky and John Williams — woven together with personal stories, photos, and video.

Saturdays at 7 wraps up the 2025–2026 season with I’m Still Standing: Songs, Stories and the Power of Community, featuring local pianist extraordinaire and arts leader Devon L. Hansen.

This is it—the grand finale of the 2025-26 season, and we are going out with an absolute powerhouse of a show.

On June 13th, our Music Director, Devon Hansen, is stepping away from the podium and taking the bench for a high-octane solo performance titled "I'm Still Standing." 🎹⚡

This isn't just a local recital; it’s a rare chance to see an elite, international-caliber artist let loose on his home stage. Devon achieved what most musicians only dream of—making his Carnegie Hall debut at just 25 years old. When a pianist with that level of explosive talent and skill pours his heart into a season finale, the energy in the room is unmatched.

🎹 World-Class Artistry, Right Here in Chatham! 🎹

You know him as the visionary behind our Saturdays at 7 series, but for our grand season finale, our Music Director is stepping into the spotlight to showcase the exceptional talent that has taken him to some of the world's most prestigious stages.

Before building the thriving music ministry we enjoy today at St. Andrew's, Devon spent years honing his craft on both sides of the border, graduating magna cm laude with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance, followed by a Master’s degree in Musicology. His dynamic, vibrant playing style has made him a highly sought-after soloist and chamber artist—culminating in a remarkable Carnegie Hall debut at just 25 years old. 🌟

This final performance, titled "I'm Still Standing," brings that exact same level of elite, international musicianship straight to our sanctuary. It is a true celebration of Devon's musical journey and a rare chance to experience a concert pianist of this caliber in an intimate, community setting.
