The final Music on the Lake of the summer is TONIGHT!

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of another summer, and we’re going out with a bang! Join us tonight as The Angie Heinze Band takes the stage with a huge mix of classic rock, country, pop, and nostalgic favourites from the ’70s through the 2000s.

Bring your favourite people, grab a lawn chair or blanket, and come help us make our final night of Music on the Lake one to remember. 💙

A huge thank you to the Chase Lions Club for sponsoring tonight’s show and to the Village of Chase for continuing to make this free summer series possible.

Thank you, Chase, for another incredible summer. Let's have some fun tonight!

From Queen to The Killers and everything in between, this Kamloops powerhouse is bringing the big hits, big vocals, and plenty of reasons to get out of your lawn chair.

A big thank you to The Bepple Family (in memory of Jim Bepple) for sponsoring tonight's performance.

Summer isn't over yet. Let's rock at 7pm in Memorial Park.

A massive thank you to Chase and Area Family Services for bringing the 2026 Art Walk to a whole new level!
From the exhibits at local businesses and organizations, the new massive public art installations, and the Community Art Show, the planning team has put so much into recognizing so many talented folks in our community.

Tomorrow is the day! 🎨

The Community Art Show is happening Friday, August 14 at 641 Shuswap Ave. Everyone welcome, admission by donation.

Come early, stay late, or do both. Here is how the day runs:

11:00 Opening Welcome
Remarks by Landon V. and Dr. Natalie Clark, honouring the introduction of Secwepemc art to the community.

11:00 to 4:00 Open House and Activities
Wander the Community Art Gallery at your own pace, try art activities for all ages, and take on the Secwepemctsín Scavenger Hunt. There may be a surprise or two tucked in along the way.

5:00 to 8:00 Evening Event
Art vendors, an informal meet and greet with the Art Walk artists, a pierogi bar and refreshments, live portrait drawing, prizes and more.

So many local creatives have poured their time and talent into this one, and it is something to see all of it gathered in one room. Bring a friend, bring the kids, bring an appetite.

Tomorrow night, Music on the Lake joins the CornStock celebrations as we welcome Mike Gouchie & The Classics to Tsqúqw7e (Chase Memorial Park)!

An award-winning Indigenous country artist, Mike brings his blend of country, western and traditional influences to the lake for another free Tuesday night concert.

A big thank you to A&W Chase for helping us bring live music to the community!

We recognize that air quality in Chase is currently very poor due to wildfire smoke. The forecast is looking more favourable for tomorrow, but conditions can change quickly. We’ll continue monitoring the air quality and weather and make a decision by tomorrow afternoon about whether it is safe to proceed with the show. We’ll post an update as soon as a decision is made, so please check back before heading to the park.

For now, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for clearer skies and looking forward to continuing CornStock Week with Music on the Lake!

Next Tuesday, August 4, Vancouver-based Indigenous pop artist Kiana Layne McChesney makes her Music on the Lake debut at 7pm!

With a luminous voice, powerful stage presence, and a sound that blends confidence, edge, and soulful storytelling, Kiana brings something different to this summer's lineup. Fresh off a performance at Shambhala Music Festival, she's bringing that festival energy to Memorial Park.

A big thank you to Donna Smith-Bradley Personal Real Estate Corporation for sponsoring this week's show.

We're keeping the groove going!

After an incredible evening of blues with Velvet Groove last week, the music keeps flowing as Paisley Groove take the Music on the Lake stage this Tuesday, July 28!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy an evening of feel-good favourites from the '60s and '70s, brought to life by one of Kamloops' favourite bands. Whether you're dancing by the stage or soaking in the sunset from your lawn chair, it's the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening by the lake.

A special thank you to Mayor David Lepsoe for sponsoring this week's concert and helping keep Music on the Lake free for everyone.
