Artist opportunity at a very cool local business!

08/19/2026

“Support local” means support local parties, too! As if we needed another excuse?

You know that thing in the back of your closet?

The one you **love** but have absolutely nowhere to wear? The prom dress. The ridiculous jacket. The sequined masterpiece. The outfit that deserves to leave the closet and see the world.

THIS IS ITS MOMENT.

Dig deep into your closet, unleash your inner fashion goblin, and come dressed in the thing you’ve been waiting for the “right occasion” to wear.

There is no dress code. There is no wrong outfit. There is only MORE.

This Saturday, August 22 | 8pm | $10 or PWYC | 19+
The Arts Guild with This Town is Small

Come dressed to impress. Or confuse. Or delight. Or simply make your closet feel seen.

Nowhere to Wear It? Not anymore.

Oh, and there will be grilled cheese sammies!

Over the next few weeks, we will be putting together Drawstring Productions next big thing! (Remember, we do theatre and events so it could be anything!)
What type of entertainment would you like to see? What is PEI missing?

✨ Look who’s hitting the lights and stage for Dancing With The Stars 2026… it’s Abby Oliver! And she’s paired with returning pro dancer Jeff Cody! 💃🕺

Let’s meet Abby!

Abby Oliver has decades of experience in sales and marketing but currently enjoys her position as Product Advisor at Charlottetown Toyota. With a passion for comics and tattoos, she is an avid collector of both and is always open for an artistic opportunity. Originally from Nova Scotia, Abby moved to PEI in 1999 to take Journalism at Holland college and she met her husband Brett that same year. Since then, they've enjoyed their home here in PEI and have adopted their 3 sweet cats.

Abby has loved to dance since she was a child and is honoured and excited to be a part of PEI DWTS!
