Young at Heart Musical Theatre was formerly known as Atlantic Smile Theatre, created by Catherine O'Brien and Hank Stinson, and modeled after Smile Theatre in Ontario, which has been operat

ing for over 40 years. Our purpose is to enrich the lives of seniors - especially those in long term care facilities. By engaging the skills of professional actors, directors, stage managers, writers, designers, composers, and choreographers, we strive to produce professional theatre designed to stimulate seniors’ minds, spirits, and imaginations. We have an objective to provide original Canadian musicals for isolated seniors, to produce shows that seniors can relate to, and to meet and socialize with the audience after each performance.
