The Black Box at The Arts Guild is very busy, and frankly, we're starting to wonder if it ever sleeps.

Between performances, rehearsals, workshops, private bookings, community events, and assorted creative shenanigans, there's always something brewing in those walls. If you've been looking for a sign to get out and experience some performance art, this is it.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated, your support is making a real difference in our community.

Our collection bin is still available in The Arts Guild lobby, we are open today between 9:00am and 5:00pm, and then again at 7:00pm before the eight show (that The Arts Guild staff are participating in!)

Period poverty is something many people never have to think about, but for others in our community, it’s a monthly challenge. Menstrual products remain one of the most requested items at community hubs across Canada, which is why initiatives like Menstrual May are so important.

If you’re able, please consider donating new, unopened menstrual products to help remove this barrier.

Period poverty creates real barriers for members of our community. This May, The Arts Guild is helping remove one of them by serving as a menstrual product drop-off location.

Donate new, unopened products in our lobby during office hours (9–5, Mon–Fri) or at 7:00pm on May 29.

Access to menstrual products is basic. Community support makes it possible.

That’s why The Arts Guild is collecting menstrual products throughout May.

Bring new, unopened pads, tampons, or other supplies to our lobby: Mon–Fri, 9–5; or at 7:00pm on May 29.

Let’s help ensure dignity and access for everyone who needs it.
