28 years ago I purchased a little run down building, renovated it and became an entrepreneur. As of Friday , August 7 2026, I am no longer the owner of 15294 Cabot Trail.
After losing both my parents and my husband all in the past few years, I realize that this isn’t the path I am meant to be on anymore.
There have been years of struggles and years of growth and I’m grateful for all of them. The opportunity to share my art with many of you.
The experience I’ve gained in many areas of business,and the lasting friendships I’ve made along the way.
I’m not sure yet where life will take me moving forward, but I know creativity will find me again one day, and if you stick around I hope to continue sharing some of that with you.

To my valued customers and friends. Please note I will not be taking any orders for the upcoming holiday season as I continue to navigate a path that is emotionally draining, making it difficult to find the motivation to create.

Life continues to throw me some curveballs and because of that I will be taking another extended break - most particular for glasswork. When I do find some time to go in at the studio, it will be for painting. That’s what my heart wants to do right now. The glasswork has become incredibly repetitive, not allowing me to actually channel any creativity anymore. Recent life events has also found me re-evaluating the purpose of my life , and what ultimately brings me joy and what doesn’t anymore. I question the future of my business , whether it still fulfills me or if it has just become mundane and something I need to do. The hustle is getting old. To make new things only to have people have zero response to any of it. The passion to continue doing that has severely diminished. We will see what the next few months bring my way.

I have been quietly back to work for about two months. It has been a difficult 5 months. I have been painting however for the past several weeks and excited to share these with you. The boats are 5”x10” and still need to have the edges finished. Yellow one might be spoken for but the other two are available. The round buoy canvas is spoken for, but not quite finished yet .Excited to offer more of these in the future.

On Sunday December 1, my life changed forever. I lost my loving husband and partner in all aspects of life in a traumatic horrible accident. I am beyond devastated, broken and have no idea how I can even move forward and put the pieces of my life back together.
I will be taking a hiatus from the studio for an undertermined length of time as I have so many things to sort out and some very hard decisions to make moving forward. Feeling completely lost. Hope you will all still be there on the flip side . I will be back, just not sure when. Rest assured if you have items waiting to ship due to the CP strike, they will be on their way as soon as that settles. For pickups, I will reach out in the next few weeks. All other orders pending that weren’t started or completed have been canceled. Thank you for understanding during this very difficult time.
