15 THINGS I LEARNED WITH MIDLIFE CRISIS DURING A PANDEMIC
1. The universe may turn you upside down and regardless if it's good or bad, the inner you will always come out.
2. Learn to not depend your happiness with the people around you. If you're confused of what other people is thinking, put yourself in their shoes and you'll realize they're not worth impressing because their perspective is different from yours.
3. Do not confuse education with wisdom.
4. You cannot help people who can't help themselves. You will only drown yourself.
5. There are still good people out there. Give your trust but not all of it.
6. If a person can fix something in under minute like their tie or some dirt in their face, tell them. If they cannot, you don't have to state the obvious, you're only giving them more insecurity.
7. Live moment by moment you have no idea how easy and fast people come and go. Capture moments but do not make moments be just all about capturing.
8. Hustle now or hustle 100 times later.
9. Saying what you want from life is so much different from actually doing something to get it.
10. Never invalidate someone's pain because you experience worse. Tolerance is variable and you might not notice but toxic positivity is pretty upsetting and causes more depression.
11. Financial stability is not just all about money, you are also wanting peace, reducing worries and also a form of self-care.
12. Morality is never religion.
13. Your greatest competitors are your character and your thoughts.
14. If you're a parent, do not spoil your kids enough for them to set their life resilience anything near to zero.
15. Life is short. Time is gold. Peace is expensive, excuses are overly used and common sense is surprisingly rare.
Truly grateful with family and friends for having faith in me. Hitting my 2nd million gross sale for one of my business channels and now creating my team of business analysts for my 3rd biz channel. All of these, while having a full-time job in one of the largest tech company in the globe (giggles) and also pursuing my masters. Am I debt-free? No. Do I have huge savings? No, I have good cashflow. No inheritance neither married, with family baggage and just endless trying. The last time I checked I had to go back home at lunch to eat because I only have a 20 peso-bill in my pocket during my interview and still got rejected. Do not confuse my efforts with luck as I worked my ass off and still working to create me. Why am I sharing this? My goals in life are to continuously improve my career path, help my family as much as I could, doing the things I love while making a positive impact in the world - all at once. The first 2 is manifested through my actions, the 3rd one is displayed using the video below and the last one is manifested by creating this post. Now let me ask you this, how do you manifest yours? Did you try everything? Do what you plan now and you’ll be surprised your only problem is why didn’t you start earlier. ✨
