Here is the information re the Outlaw Fast 16 - 1/8th mile program for this weekend. This is not a typical TD/TS format, it is a series coming to GBM this weekend.
To run in this program Dragsters must dial 4.50 or quicker, Door Cars 4.70 or quicker, it is a qualified field by ET of 8 Door and 8 Dragster competitors ( if one side isn't full and the other side has more than 8 qualified entries those additional entries will fill the open spots). >500 Full Tree. Race dial-ins must be within 1/10th of qualifying time. No Throttle Stops, Courtesy Staging, Cross Talk is on. Round 1 pairings by Chip draw (Sunday morning), lane choice to the quickest qualified car. Rds 2-4 quicker car in previous round gets lane choice.
Entry fee is $400 driver and 4 crew, you have to enter the program before first qualifier on Saturday ( you can run more than one program on Saturday, but you can only run Outlaw Fast 16 on Sunday). If you have no crew or have entered a GBM program on say Friday night when you come to GBM (and paid for your crew) and then decide Saturday morning to join this program entry fee is $300.
Full field of 16 entries pays out $6500 and my understanding pays ( 50% winner, 25% Runner-up, 12.5% semi's ) If we have more entries than 16, you get Free Entry into the Extreme 32 race on Sunday or possibly a non qualifiers race ( depending on car numbers) TBD by series promoter.
Friday night at 7pm is a test hit, Saturday has 3 qualifiers. Sunday is eliminations ( times are on the Thunder by the Beach schedule).
