Home Based Studio Fun!

Just Beyond The Fear Studios started in November of 2016 in my new hometown of Castlegar, BC. I had recently moved to the area with my husband & daughter and was looking for people to make friends with and share what I love. What started out small and rather silly, has turned into something I really care about and look forward to working on all the time. I turned our basement into a small studio where I can host up to 20 people for a great event.

I wanted to create a space for parents who just needed a minute to relax and have some time to themselves. A place to be creative or maybe try something new with friends! The studio hosts monthly events where you can come and learn, step-by-step, how to paint your own work or art and maybe enjoy a glass of wine if you like. Tickets are $25. No experience is required and people with “not a single artistic bone in their body” are welcome! :)

Our services also extend to private bookings; either in studio or at a preferred location. All supplies are provided including tables, chairs, easels and painting supplies. Alcohol is not provided for private bookings. $25 nonrefundable booking fee is charged to book parties and then each guest is $25. Time frames and paintings can be customized to suit your needs. Children’s birthday packages are priced separately, contact us for details.
