The creativity, contrast, mood, and storytelling captured in these images truly showcase the incredible talent we have right here in our community. The black and white works are powerful and timeless, and definitely a fan favourite.

🍁 Calling all community, cultural, and heritage groups! 🍁

Seeking one representative of each Indigenous, settler and immigrant group in Canada to create a textile leaf in honour of their heritage.

The leaves will become part of a collaborative tree installation featured in the Reflections of Ourselves exhibition, by artist Tracey Lawko.

🍁 Every leaf tells a story. Help make sure your community is part of the tree. 🍁

Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend for our very first Moss Art workshop at the Kootenay Gallery of Art!

What an incredible turnout and such a fun, creative experience. We loved seeing everyone’s unique designs come to life and the wonderful energy in the room made the day even more special.
