FINAL CALL FOR VENDORS — UA FEST 2026

Today, September 2, is the final day to register as a vendor for UA FEST 2026.

Due to the Town of Carleton Place’s requirements, all participating vendors must have their insurance documentation completed before the vendor list can be finalized.

If you would still like to participate but are not able to complete your vendor payment today, please do not worry — the most important step is to arrange your insurance today. Payment and remaining administrative details can be completed afterward.

After today, we may unfortunately no longer be able to accept new vendor applications because the Town requires the final insurance documentation to be submitted.

Welcome The Lemon Lab to UA FEST 2026! 🍋

We’re excited to welcome The Lemon Lab by The Charcuterie Society as one of our vendors at UA FEST 2026 on September 13 in Carleton Place.

The Lemon Lab brings a fun, vibrant, and interactive drink experience with freshly squeezed lemonade made with real lemons and premium ingredients. Each drink is made fresh to order and can be customized with fruit flavours, refreshing boba, candy garnishes, and other fun toppings. They also offer sugar-free and keto-friendly options.

We’re very happy to have them joining our growing vendor community this year and can’t wait for festival guests to discover their colourful lemonade creations.

🇺🇦🇨🇦 UNITY RIDE & DRIVE 2026 — OTTAWA TO CARLETON PLACE

This is more than a car rally.

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, drivers, motorcycle riders, car clubs, business owners, families and supporters from across the Ottawa region are invited to join the UAFest 2026 Unity Ride & Drive.

The convoy will depart from Ottawa at 11:00 AM and travel together to UAFest 2026 at Riverside Park in Carleton Place.

The exact Ottawa meeting location will be shared with registered participants.

Our mission is simple: bring people together, keep Ukraine visible, and turn a powerful community event into meaningful support for children affected by war.

Net proceeds from designated Unity Ride & Drive fundraising and merchandise, after direct rally costs, will support Kids of Ukraine and its work with children and teenagers in Ukraine.

We invite both the Ukrainian and Canadian communities to take part.

Bring your car.
Bring your motorcycle.
Bring your club.
Bring your flags.

💙💛 ROTARY AT UA FEST 2026

For the fourth year, Rotary continues to stand alongside UA Fest -connecting communities in Canada and Ukraine through service, friendship and action.

This year, that partnership will be more visible than ever.

Rotarians from Rotary Club of West Ottawa, Rotary Club of Arnprior, Rotary Club Kharkiv Friends and other Rotary communities will come together at UA Fest, transforming one Rotary tent into a true Rotary Village - a place to meet Rotarians, learn about the projects they lead locally and internationally, and discover how each of us can become part of meaningful change.

We are especially honoured to welcome Barbara Fisk, District Governor of Rotary District 7040 for 2026-2027, to UA Fest 2026.

Her presence at our Festival is a meaningful recognition of the relationship that has grown between Rotary and our community over the years.

We are also proud to welcome Orest Peter “Peter” Chabursky of the Rotary Club of West Ottawa, Chair of the Canadian Section of the Rotary Inter-Country Committee Canada-Ukraine. Through this committee, Rotarians in Canada and Ukraine are building direct relationships between clubs, communities and humanitarian projects across both countries.

And this year, that connection becomes part of something historic.

The Rushnyk of Unity-Rushnyk of Victory will begin its North American journey at UA Fest in Carleton Place. The project carries a deep Rotary connection through its founder Andrii Yatsenko, and its journey in Canada and across North America is being supported by the Rotary Inter-Country Committee Canada–Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Community of Lanark County.

On September 13, Rotary, the Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine will come together in Carleton Place not simply to celebrate - but to strengthen a bridge between Canada and Ukraine that continues long after the Festival ends.

🇺🇦 VOLUNTEERS WANTED — UA FEST 2026! 🇨🇦

We are looking for amazing volunteers to join us for UA FEST 2026 on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 12 PM to 6 PM at Riverside Park in Carleton Place!

UA FEST is a vibrant Ukrainian-Canadian community festival bringing together music, culture, food, family activities, vendors, special guests and community organizations.

This year will also be especially meaningful as we celebrate 35 years of Ukrainian Independence, welcome the extraordinary Rushnyk of Unity / Rushnyk of Victory, and continue our mission of bringing people together while supporting children affected by the war in Ukraine.

We need volunteers for different areas, including:
• Guest welcome & information
• Kids and family activities
• Vendor support
• Festival setup & teardown
• Parking and logistics
• Media and event support
• General festival assistance

Whether you can help for a few hours or take on a larger role, we would love to have you on our team!

Join the Chestnut Run — a Ukrainian charity tradition held for 33 years, now coming to Ottawa for the very first time! ❤️

📏 Distances: 5 km, 2 km, 1 km — for adults, kids, athletes, and participants using wheelchairs.
📌 Registration deadline: May 25, 2026

💛 Charity Purpose
All donations will go toward purchasing a video laryngoscope for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Ukrainian Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery — a hospital heavily damaged during the missile attack on “Okhmatdyt” on July 8, 2024.
This equipment is essential for saving the lives of newborns.
Together, we run for the smallest hearts 💛💙

Together with Cookiddoo, we had the joy of sharing Ukrainian culture in Perth - through taste, traditions, and meaningful conversations. Ukrainian borscht, pampushky, warm smiles, and hundreds of people discovering Ukraine a little closer.

In Smiths Falls, alongside Ukrainian singer Marta Stepanenko, Ukrainian song filled the stage - sincere, powerful, and truly heartfelt.

We were grateful to join these wonderful initiatives and use the opportunity to share our love for Ukraine with people 💛

Because moments like these are about more than participation.
They are about presence.
About voice.
About roots growing in Canadian soil 🌱

Traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirts, authentic patterns, natural fabrics, and symbols passed down through generations - each piece tells a story. A story of family, identity, resilience, and pride. 💙💛

When you hold a vyshyvanka in your hands, you’re not just choosing clothing.
You’re touching history.
You’re feeling craftsmanship.

Our festival gave everyone the opportunity to come closer to Ukrainian culture - to see it, to wear it, and to take a piece of it home.
