Our Matilda youth cast took the Youth Stage at Carleton Junction for the second annual Carleton Place Porchfest. Turn the sound up. This is what months of rehearsal sounds like when it finally meets an audience.

🎭 MURDER, MOBSTERS & MULTI-COURSE DINNER! 🔫🍽️

Gangster Tony Alto wants to clean some cash, and his wife Toffee wants to be a Broadway star. Solution? Hire two desperate producers to mount a new musical called The Mafia Queen. What could possibly go wrong?

You’re invited to step into the action of Bullets for Broadway at the opening night after-party! But with the FBI crashing, mob rivalries brewing, and a few stray bullets flying, the night quickly turns into a hilariously chaotic, interactive whodunit.

Fantastic opportunity for a youth who would like to develop their music & leadership skills!

We are looking for a Youth Rehearsal Assistant! Are you, or do you know, a high school student who would be excited to develop skills in music education and choral leadership? We are looking for a Youth Rehearsal Assistant to support our young performers during rehearsals and performances. Responsibilities will include:
🎶 Modelling and encouraging focus/attention during rehearsals
🎶 Taking attendance
🎶 Leading sections during two-part singing
🎶 Helping to lead vocal warm-ups
🎶 Helping to address any needs to support our choristers

When the planes were diverted on September 11, 2001 thousands of people found themselves on an unexpected journey. Come From Away is the story of what happened next. It’s a Canadian story of resilience, community, kindness, and finding a way forward.

As you know, our own journey recently took unexpected turn. After selling more than 4,000 tickets at Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe, our production was suddenly diverted due to flooding damage. But just like the story we’re about to tell, we’ve found a new path.

Come From Away is landing at De La Salle and the CEAO (Centre d’excellence artistique de l’Ontario)! ❤️✈️

On Saturday, August 22, they take the first ever Youth Stage at Carleton Place Porchfest, singing at Carleton Junction alongside performers from all over town. They've been rehearsing all summer for this one.

Come stand on a lawn, listen to something wonderful, and let them hear the whole community show up.
