New month. New artists. New art. Looks like a new gallery. Our monthly changeover came a couple of days early. What can I say except that have some more very WOW pieces in. In fact, the exhibition room changed at the same time so ‘Double Wow’.

CALL FOR ARTISTS

Are you interested in being one of our guest exhibitors for 2027?

Call for Proposals – 2027 Exhibition Program
Carleton Place Gallery
210 Bridge St.
Carleton Place, ON
Length of Each Exhibit: 3 weeks
Deadline: Friday, October 2, 2026

The Carleton Place Gallery, in January 2025, under new ownership and direction, converted the studio space into a dedicated exhibition room. Located adjacent to the main gallery, this intimate venue has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate both solo and group exhibitions. The space offers 66 linear feet of wall display and 343 square feet of floor area, in addition to a washroom, storage, and laundry tub.

To support professional presentation, the exhibition space is equipped with specialized lighting, a secure hanging system, a rolling countertop, and an independent after-hours entrance. This venue represents an ideal setting for pop-up exhibitions, curated showcases, and professional art presentations, and has proven to be an exceptional place for artists to present and sell a solid grouping of their work in a fine-art gallery setting.

The Carleton Place Gallery is now accepting proposals for its 2027 exhibition schedule. Artists residing within 100 km of Carleton Place are invited to apply for consideration.

We welcome submissions from fine artists at all stages of their careers and encourage a wide range of artistic voices, mediums, and forms of expression. Proposals may be submitted by individual artists or by groups of two or more. Artists will be evaluated equally based on criteria expectations and adherence to the gallery standards and guidelines. Additional information and applications can be found on our website at: https://www.cpgallery.ca/exhibition-application.html. Applicants will be assessed and contacted by Friday, October 16.
