Layers upon layers of colour and texture. Diane keeps on adding and subtracting. Watching the process, the final image is always a pleasant surprise but always showing bits of each hidden layer. My favourites are the little bits that Diane chooses to ‘protect and ‘keep’ just because. Come into the gallery and I will show you exactly what I mean by that.

There is just one more week left to see Roy Whiddon’s exhibit. ‘ Figurative Speaking’ is just a small collection of Roy’s work. Roy has received numerous awards for him photography as he strives to portray the beauty, grace, strength and vulnerability of the human body.

I love when new art comes into the gallery. Not only did Charlie Spratt bring in brand new ‘Blakeney Westerly’ today, he stayed and painted plein air in the parking lot. One word describes each of Charlie’s pieces perfectly, and that is ‘Spectacular!’
