New things are happening in the Blackwoods!
I have been learning how to make books! This is one of my first, a plain black cloth was used for the cover, and I handstitched all the pages together in signatures using the Kettle stitch. It takes a little to get onto, but fairly easy to maneuver. Bookmaking is quite addictive!

Learned something new on Sunday thanks to a friend! How to use a drop spindle! For those of you who haven't heard of a drop spindle, it's where you take some fleece and turn it into yarn. It was my first time trying it, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Have to keep working on getting my yarn more consistent, but it's coming along.
